Bear honed her craft with Mayfair dealer Humphrey Butler while studying gemology and design at the Gemological Institute of America. In 2012, she established her own East London brand, specialising in bespoke and commission-based jewellery as well as signature, ready-to-wear pieces that exude vintage charm.
