Emerald
Emerald is the green to greenish blue variety of beryl, a mineral species that also includes aquamarine as well as beryls in other colours. An Emerald is classified as an Emerald when a green beryl's colour is "too light" for it to be classified as emerald. Emerald's have a hardness of 8 on the MOH's scale of hardness.
